Ми ретельно вивчаємо індексації, терміни виходу публікацій у різних виданнях, а також їх віднесення до наукометричних баз даних з метою завжди забезпечувати вам актуальну інформацію та високоякісний сервіс. Саме з цієї причини ми традиційно ділимося з вами переліком журналів, які втратили індексацію в Scopus. Сьогодні ми розглянемо видання, виключені з Scopus протягом жовтня та листопада 2023 року.
According to the results of the checks, 10 journals have been excluded from the database over the past two months, namely:
- Anthropogenic Pollution (Print-ISSN 27831736) (E-ISSN 25884646) Publisher – Islamic Azad University;
- Axioms (E-ISSN 20751680). Publisher – Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI);
- Human Review (E-ISSN 26959623). Publisher – Eagora Science;
- Information Sciences Letters (Print-ISSN 20909551) (E-ISSN 2090956X). Publisher — Natural Sciences Publishing;
- International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Learning (Print-ISSN 18688799) (E-ISSN 18630383). Publisher – International Association of Online Engineering;
- International Journal on Recent and Innovation Trends in Computing and Communication (E-ISSN 23218169). Publisher – Auricle Global Society of Education and Research;
- Journal International Academy of Medical Sciences (Print-ISSN 0971071X). Publisher – Mary Ann Liebert Inc.;
- Journal of Environmental Management and Tourism (E-ISSN 20687729). Publisher – ASERS Publishing House;
- Science and Technology (Print-ISSN 2147611X). Publisher — International Society for Technology, Education, and Science;
- TECHNO Review. International Technology, Science and Society Review / Revista Internacional de Tecnologia, Ciencia y Sociedad (E-ISSN 26959933). Publisher – Eagora Science.
The reasons for exclusion from the Scopus database are the same for all these journals – concerns about publication timing. What does this mean:
- The journal has stopped monitoring the quality and content of articles, and accepts a huge number of low-quality articles for money.
- An increase in the number of published articles. For example, if a journal published 100 articles last year and 500-600 articles this year, this is already a cause for concern.
These are the main reasons why journals are removed from Scopus.
