Last night, June 4, 2025, Scopus published a new update to the database. The Article Academy team quickly prepared this material for you to be the first to warn you about the changes — and help you avoid unnecessary waste of time and money.
As part of the update, 5 journals were officially excluded: four for violations recorded by the Radar system, one for questionable editorial quality.
In addition, 3 more journals, along with all the articles published in them, were completely removed without separate notice. All of them had previously appeared in our column as candidates for removal.
A particularly disturbing case is Journal of Information Systems Engineering and Management, where it was published over 90 articles by Ukrainian authors, which have now lost indexation.
