The last update of journals in the Scopus database was in early February 2025. Tonight, Scopus released a new update covering February 2025, within the framework of which only 2 publications were added to the official list of removed journals. However, in addition to these officially excluded journals, others were also removed, but without public announcement. Scopus has decided not to disclose information about the reasons for their exclusion, which leaves us with the opportunity to only guess about the motives for these actions. In this publication, we will tell you about all the exclusions, including official and unofficial removals.

Magazines removed without official announcement:
These journals were excluded from the Scopus database, but did not make it to the official list of removed journals. Recently, Scopus has been hiding journals that have committed gross violations and not adding them to the official list. Exceptions in Web of Science
In addition to the changes in Scopus, we also discovered important news: two journals in which many Ukrainian scientists published were excluded from Web of Science:
At the same time, the journal QUALITY – ACCESS TO SUCCESS remains active in Scopus, but as practice shows, if a journal is excluded from one database, it may soon be removed from another. We will monitor the situation and inform you of possible changes.
