Traditionally, we publish useful information from the world of scientific publications for you. Today we will consider publications that were excluded from Scopus in December, during the last exclusion for 2023.<\/p><p>According to the results of the checks, 4 journals were excluded from the database in the last month of 2023, namely:<\/p><ul><li><b>Applied Bionics and Biomechanics<\/b><span > (Print-ISSN 11762322) (E-ISSN 17542103) Publisher \u2013 Hindawi;\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><b>Journal of Advanced Zoology<\/b><span > (E-ISSN 02537214). Publisher \u2013 Assoc. Advancement Zoology;<\/span><\/li><li><b>Journal of Coastal Research<\/b><span > (Print-ISSN 07490208) (E-ISSN 15515036). Published by Coastal Education &amp; Research Foundation, Inc.;<\/span><\/li><li><b>Journal of Interconnection Networks<\/b><span > (Print-ISSN 02192659) (E-ISSN 17936713). Publisher \u2013 World Scientific.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>The reasons for exclusion from the Scopus database are the same for all these journals \u2013 concerns about publication timing. What does this mean:<\/p><p>1) The journal has stopped monitoring the quality and content of articles, and accepts a huge number of low-quality articles for money.<\/p><p>2) An increase in the number of published articles.
