Greetings, dear colleagues!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

With you <\/span>Vasyl Malets<\/span><\/a> \u2014 Director of the \u201cAcademy of Articles\u201d and author of an analytical column on journals at risk of being removed from Scopus. This is the sixteenth installment of the column and the fourth in 2026.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This issue is special: for the first time, we\u2019re revisiting a magazine we\u2019ve already reviewed. In July, in <\/span>Part 15<\/span><\/a>, we wrote about JIDMIS\u2014at the time, it had three issues for 2026. Two months have passed, and now there are fourteen. The forecast came true sooner than we ourselves had expected.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Let me clarify right away to avoid any confusion: this is not a list of journals that have been removed from Scopus. Scopus publishes a list of removed journals approximately every six months in its \u201cDiscontinued Sources\u201d section, but by the time a journal appears there, it\u2019s already too late for authors. We\u2019re writing about journals at risk of being excluded from Scopus: those that already show all the signs but are still formally indexed and are currently actively accepting articles.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
