At the moment <strong>22 of 27 magazines<\/strong>, which we wrote about earlier, have already been officially excluded from Scopus.<\/p><p data-start=\"101\" data-end=\"285\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"765\">This time, our list includes journals that have already reached their peak of activity and are on the verge of exclusion, as well as those that are just starting to gain momentum and look quite harmless. We will tell you about each of them. However, it has now transformed into a multidisciplinary publication \u201cfor everyone and about everything\u201d. Until 2025, the journal published only one modest issue per year, but already in 2025 it appeared <strong>36 issues<\/strong>. Unbelievable. This is a classic scheme for massive earnings on Scopus status.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1496\"><strong data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1496\">\nFeatures of the magazine:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1711\">\n \t<li data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1536\">\n<p data-start=\"1499\" data-end=\"1536\">Quartile: Q4 (direction <em data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1534\">Surgery<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1556\">\n<p data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1556\">Country: Pakistan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \t<li data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1711\">\n<p data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1711\">Publication cost: $700 (standard), $1000 for authors from Saudi Arabia, $1500 for China. Law<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1032\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1032\">(link to the magazine website: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clausiuspress.com\/journal\/LAW.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\ud83d\udc48)\n<p data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2440\">The journal, accepted into Scopus in 2024, initially met all the standards: it conducted peer review, rejected weak papers, and published only high-quality materials. But a few weeks ago, the situation changed dramatically: the journal began sending out letters inviting publications in all directions. The promised peer review \u2014 <strong>5<\/strong>\u2013<strong>7 days<\/strong>, publication on the site is almost instant.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2442\" data-end=\"2624\">The scope on the official website was also changed \u2014 it now states that the journal accepts articles on any topic. Articles that were clearly accepted without peer review began to appear en masse in the archive. Perhaps you have already received such letters.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2672\" data-end=\"2806\"><strong>My sincere advice<\/strong> \u2014 don&#039;t give in. Some authors believe that such journals cannot be excluded from Scopus. But this is <strong>myth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3452\" data-end=\"3740\">Unfortunately, more than 35 Ukrainian scientists managed to publish in this journal \u2014 <strong>all their articles have already been deindexed<\/strong>Some publishing companies actively advertised placement in this journal as a quick way to get published in Q1, and even submitted materials there themselves.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3742\" data-end=\"3852\">The journal has already been excluded from Scopus, although it may still appear as active until the update in May-June 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3854\" data-end=\"4043\"><strong>Importantly:<\/strong> publisher \u2014 <em>Transnational Press London Ltd.<\/em>, has previously appeared in scandals, in particular through the International Journal of Religion, which caused a stir last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4045\" data-end=\"4072\"><strong>\nFeatures of the magazine:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul data-start=\"4073\" data-end=\"4166\">\n \t<li data-start=\"4073\" data-end=\"4109\">Quartile: Q1 (Cultural Studies).<\/li>\n \t<li data-start=\"4073\" data-end=\"4109\">Country: Great Britain.<\/li>\n \t<li data-start=\"4073\" data-end=\"4109\">Publication cost: $1200.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4168\" data-end=\"4191\"><strong>Main violations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul data-start=\"4192\" data-end=\"4357\">\n \t<li data-start=\"4192\" data-end=\"4251\">Publication of articles that do not meet the stated scope.<\/li>\n \t<li data-start=\"4192\" data-end=\"4251\">A sharp increase in the number of releases.<\/li>\n \t<li data-start=\"4192\" data-end=\"4251\">Lack of peer review.<\/li>\n \t<li data-start=\"4192\" data-end=\"4251\">Mass publications for profit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4359\" data-end=\"4447\"><strong>Probability of exclusion from Scopus:<\/strong> 120%. It hasn&#039;t published too many materials yet, but it is already actively sending out invitations to authors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4515\" data-end=\"4841\">Positions itself as a multidisciplinary publication, promises quick publication for $600. However, the name itself makes it clear that it should specialize in natural sciences.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4843\" data-end=\"5058\">The scope explicitly states that only articles from the natural sciences are accepted.
